Nine Arctic Nukes Exploded in Eighteen Hours

On November 17 and 18, 2008 nine H-Bombs were exploded below the Arctic Ocean near the North Magnetic Pole. I was unable to transfer this info from the IRIS Seismic Monitor, so I copied this information longhand and typed it back onto my computer.

The North Magnetic Pole is about 80 degrees North and 104 degrees West and follows a circular 50 kilometer path each day. This area is north of Banks Island near the edge of the continental shelf and edging into the deeper waters of the Arctic Ocean. It is within Canadian waters.

Checking IRIS WILBER system of seismographic readings I was able to see the distinctive peaks of underground nuclear explosions. No small tremors leading to the major event and few if any aftershocks. The area is seismically stable. None of the blasts appeared to trigger sympathetic tremors. The explosions were concentrated in an area about 16 kilometers by 16 kilometers (10 miles by 10 miles). The explosions were in the 5 to 10 Megaton range. All were 10 kilometers deep (6.2 miles).

Such a concentration of explosions punched a hole in the crust and will allow petroleum from the bottom of the crust to leak into the Arctic Ocean. This could destroy life in large sections of the Arctic Ocean.

The Russians blasted a similar hole in Siberia east of the Urals and soaked hundreds of square kilometers with crude oil. The forests are covered in oil. Also huge volumes of natural gas were vented into the atmosphere. For many years the flaring of the natural gas was the largest source of light on Earth to the astronauts and cosmonauts who flew over night time Siberia. That same field is now the source of natural gas supplied by pipeline to Germany and France. Deep hydrocarbons from this hole contributed to Russia becoming the largest petroleum exporter in the world ahead of Saudi Arabia.

There is a possibility that the Department of Energy working with the oil companies and the Department of Defence, the likely culprits, were attempting to shift the North Magnetic Pole. More

Mossad role in Turkey coup plot revealed

Israel's national intelligence agency Mossad has been behind a failed coup in Turkey, the Turkish daily newspaper, Milliyet reports.

A secret investigation into detained Ergenekon group members and other studies outside Turkey indicate that Mossad orchestrated the coup plot against the Turkish government, the report says.

The Ergenekon group is a Turkish neo-nationalist organization with alleged links to the military, members of which have been arrested on charges of plotting to foment unrest in the country.

Investigators uncovered evidence that show a Jewish rabbi named Tuncay Guney, who worked for Mossad and fled to Canada in 2004, was a key figure behind attempts to overthrow the Turkish government.

A document uncovered this week by the Sabah daily shows how Guney purposefully infiltrated Ergenekon and another organization known as JITEM, an illegal intelligence unit in the gendarmerie suspected of hundreds of murders and kidnappings .

The rabbi was taken out of Turkey and sent to the US for protection after his identity was exposed in an investigation by Turkish police, according to Sabah.

Guney is also reported to have links with Israeli espionage activities in Egypt. According to Egyptian security forces, at least one of three suspects currently being pursued by the Egyptian government for spying was in contact with Tuncay Guney.

Meanwhile, a separate report by Turkish daily Yeni Safak has claimed that Turkish security forces have discovered some bags in Guney's Istanbul house that include the Israeli flag and Mossad's slogan.

According to an earlier report by Aksamanother Turkish daily, Mossad has been involved in several ambiguous events in Turkey.

The report claimed that Turkish security forces have discovered documents that disclose information concerning suspicious investment and economic activities by certain Jewish businessmen in Turkey.

The Jewish businessmen are alleged to have had significant relations with individuals, political groups and cultural organizations, which investigations show are affiliated to the Ergenekon group.

Turkish security forces have detained many members of the Ergenekon group, including retired army generals, politicians, popular lawyers and famous journalists. The individuals currently face trail on charges of plotting to overthrow Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Spain 'authorised' CIA rendition flights

An investigation has been launched after it emerged that the former conservative government of Jose Maria Aznar allowed controversial CIA flights to land on Spanish soil.

Spain has previously denied all knowledge of "secret stopover" flights by CIA planes transporting terror suspects to the US military base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

But a "top secret" document leaked to Spanish daily newspaper El Pais shows that permission was sought by the US from Spain's Foreign Ministry in early 2002.

The request was communicated to Josep Pique, then foreign minister, hours before a CIA flight landed at Moron airbase in southwest Spain, the newspaper claimed.

Mr Aznar's government allegedly recommended that "discreet" airports be used for the stopover of rendition flights.

Former Prime Minister Aznar, who backed the US war of terror and was in power when the flights allegedly started, has previously denied any knowledge of the stopovers. More

Iran to hold large-scale naval drills in Gulf of Oman

Iran is to hold on December 2-7 a large-scale naval exercise involving over 60 warships in the Gulf of Oman, Iranian television reported on Monday, citing the navy commander.

"Over 60 combat vessels will take part in the exercise, codenamed Ettehad-87, in the Gulf of Oman," Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said.

The four-stage exercise will involve destroyers, missile boats, submarines, helicopters, fighters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

"The goal of the exercise is to improve the combat readiness of the Iranian navy to counter potential external threats and to test modern weaponry developed by the Iranian defense industry," the admiral said.

Sayyari confirmed last week the delivery of two new domestically-built missile boats, Kalat (Fortress) and Derafsh (Flag), as well as a Ghadir-class light submarine to the Iranian navy.

Iran has launched a domestic weapons procurement campaign aimed at improving its defense capabilities and has announced the development of 109 types of advanced military equipment over the past two years.

Tehran has conducted several high-profile war games this year, while promising to strike back hard against in the event of any attack, including closing off the Strait of Hormuz, through which over 25% of world oil passes.

There has been continued speculation that the United States or Israel might launch air strikes against Iran's nuclear facilities. The United States is swinging behind India's efforts to track down those behind the deadly attacks in Mumbai, President George W Bush told Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a telephone call on Sunday.

Bush told Singh we would all be working together, with the international community, to go after these extremists, Johndroe said. Security in Mumbai Taken Down Before Attack, Despite Specific Warnings

As reported by the Hindu and by other news outlets internationally, including CNN, there were very specific intelligence warnings of an imminent attack on Mumbai. As a result, security was increased in the city at the targeted hotels. Nonetheless, this security was taken down one week before the attack, even as the Indian Navy and Coast Guard were conducting a hunt for the terrorists en route to Mumbai, on the basis of an intercepted telephone call to the Lashkar-e-Taiba's main military commander for operations against India.

The Hindu reports from a highly-placed government source that India's intelligence services had delivered at least three precise warnings that a major terrorist attack on Mumbai was imminent.

On Nov. 18, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) intercepted a satellite phone conversation, in which a so-far unidentified caller notified his handlers that he was heading for Mumbai along with a certain cargo. Analysts determined the call was made to a Lahore phone number known to be used by the Lashkar-e-Taiba's main military commander for operations targeting India, who is known only by the code-names `Muzammil' and `Abu Hurrera.' Mumbai police investigators have determined that the call was made from a satellite phone that was eventually found abandoned on the fishing boat hijacked by the terrorists. The All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM) president Dr Zafarul-Islam Khan has expressed deep pain and concern over the bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad.

In a statement released on July 28, while offering his sincere condolences to the family members of the innocent victims, Dr Khan said that no effort should be spared to nab the real culprits behind these dastardly crimes against the country and the people of India.

Dr Khan cautioned the police, security and intelligence agencies not to hurry to make statements or leak information until proper investigations are completed. He called upon these agencies and the central and state home ministries to probe all possible suspects and all possible beneficiaries from such crimes.

“A certain political party which has usurped the common plank of fighting terrorism is a sure beneficiary of such incidents in view of the forthcoming elections,” Dr Khan said and noted that these terrorist incidents are taking place in states ruled by this particular party and the chief minister of another state ruled by this party has already predicted that the next target of these crimes will be his state.

Dr Khan specifically said that Hindutva criminal and terrorist gangs, responsible for similar crimes in the recent past in places like Nanded, Parbhani, Tenkasi and Thane, should be included within the purview of the current and future probes into all terrorist acts in the country.

Dr Khan observed that such criminal gangs have received support from the Shiv Sena supremo and his newspaper Samna but the Maharashtra state authorities have failed to take any action to date against him or his newspaper for openly supporting and encouraging terrorism.

Dr Khan asked the central government to form a high powered neutral panel of retired judges, human rights activists, top lawyers and journalists to oversee the investigations into all terrorist acts. Such a neutral panel is needed to restore the Muslim community’s faith in the investigations by security and intelligence agencies which, due to their consistently one-sided probes after each such criminal act, have totally forfeited the confidence of the Muslim community.

Dr Khan also asked the central government to keep a sharp eye on the dubious activities of foreign intelligence agencies like Mossad and FBI which are operating freely in our country. According to a report by The Associated Press, Mohamed ElBaradei, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, finds it "baffling" that there are apparently no commercial satellite pictures available of a site in Syria taken in the months just after the Israelis allegedly destroyed whatever was allegedly there prior to September 6th, 2007.

Except, of course, for the before/after photos, allegedly taken via commercial satellite, somehow obtained and published last year by David Albright at the Institute for Science and International Security.

Curiously, as Alblright himself notes, in order for someone to obtain such photos, they would have had to tell the commercial satellite controllers precisely where and when to properly position their satellites and would have had to have paid them big-bucks to take the aforementioned before/after pictures

Now, if Albright, himself, has enough spare big-bucks to go around commissioning commercial satellite operators to take beaucoup high-resolution pictures of a remote patch of Syrian desert, one immediately wonders where, when and why Albright obtained said big-bucks.

Russian hackers penetrate Pentagon computer system in cyber attack

Computer hackers suspected of working from Russia successfully penetrated Pentagon computer systems in one of the most severe cyber attacks on US military networks.

The electronic attack was so serious that Adm Michael Mullen, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, briefed President George W Bush and Robert Gates, the defence secretary.

Defence officials told the Los Angeles Times that the attack struck computers within the US Central Command, which oversees Iraq and Afghanistan, and involved malicious software - known as "malware" - that permeates a network.

"This one was significant, this one got our attention," said an official, speaking anonymously.

Officials did not disclose the extent of the damage and would not elaborate on the reasons for believing the assault originated in Russia.

The Pentagon and other US government departments face repeated cyber attacks, especially from Russia and China, either from individuals or indirectly from those countries' governments.

If African-Americans are overrepresented in the armed forces it is likely because of the military’s practice of “strategically targeting low-income youth and students of color,” the ACLU has found.

Result: While African-Americans make up only 16% of the same-age civilian population, in 2006 they represented about 22% of enlisted Army personnel.

Even though enlistment under law is supposed to be voluntary, the Pentagon’s racial targeting “in combination with exaggerated promises of financial rewards for enlistment, undermines the voluntariness of their enlistment,” ACLU said in a 46-page report, “Soldiers of Misfortune.”

In the Los Angeles Unified School District, the 30 JROTC programs enrolling 4,754 students “are located in the most economically depressed communities in the city,” according to the Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools.

Nationally, JROTC programs are offered in 18% of high schools. They have enrolled 273,000 “cadets,” of whom 45% typically enlist. According to the National Priorities Project, of the top 50 high schools ranked by the number of Black recruits, 94% have a JROTC program; similarly, for the top 50 high schools ranked by number of Hispanic recruits, 86% have JROTC.

The Army’s “School Recruiting Program Handbook,” ACLU says, advises recruiters to participate in Hispanic Heritage and Black History Month activities. Tensions between India and Pakistan over the Mumbai attacks and threats to move troops to the border between the nuclear rivals are unlikely to lead to a flashpoint, analysts said on Sunday.

But the United States could get ensnared in the row and it may prove to be a setback in the war on Islamic radicals on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, they said.

“Relationships between the two countries will deteriorate,” said Kuldip Nayar, a veteran commentator on India-Pakistan ties.

“It may not come to a level where people think there will be a flashpoint or any kind of hostilities. But these are going to be anxious times for both countries.” Reuters

India’s War Threat To Pakistan

India is threatening to suspend the peace process with Pakistan in the wake of the Mumbai massacre, say reports.

The country’s government is considering the move in response to growing public anger over the terror attacks that left 174 people dead, the Press Trust of India reported.

Pakistan has “categorically denied” any involvement in the bloodshed in India’s financial centre.

But India says it has proof of Pakistani links, and claims the sole survivor of the gunmen - Mohammad Ajmal Qasam - is from the country.

Wajid Hasan, Pakistan’s high commissioner to London, told Sky News it was a “very confusing situation” and stressed it was important not to get involved in the “blame game”.

Asked whether Pakistan feared the Indian reaction to the massacre, he said “we have got to get ready and prepare for any eventuality” and his country would not “take it lying down”.

Pakistan has warned it would move troops to the Indian border if tensions rose between the nuclear-armed rivals.

An official in Islamabad said the next one to two days would be crucial for their relations.

China official daily says don’t rule out Hindu radicals

New Delhi: The Chinese Communist party’s mouthpiece — the People’s Daily — has carried a news article, indicating involvement of Hindu radicals in the Mumbai Terror attacks. The article has based its argument on a “red thread” worn by the attackers on their wrists.

The article — written in Chinese — contributed by its India-based correspondent Ren Yan, noted that although the Deccan Mujahideen had claimed responsibility for the attack, “it can be seen from the red thread worn by the attackers around their wrists that they could be Hindus”.

Unnamed analysts are quoted as saying: “Radical elements from Hinduism could also carry out this attack, because they have long opposed the US’s hegemonistic policies”.

It also said that “India’s growing proximity to the US has invoked their strong oppositions. Some within the Hindu community are unhappy with domestic and foreign policies of the Congress-led Government and may have engineered this attack in order to influence the outcome of the approaching general elections.” INDIA EXPRESS
